2010 Bali

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 16th International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infection (IUSTI) Asia-Pacific Congress, May 4-6, 2010 and the 11th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (PIT PERDOSKI), May 7-8, 2010 in Bali.

IUSTI (Asia Pacific), is the largest branch of the International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections, is entirely voluntary, and was founded in 1975. The parent organization, also voluntary, was founded in 1923 as the International Union against the Venereal Diseases and Treponematoses (IUVDT), and admitted into official relations with the World Health Organization in 1948. It remains on the roster of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. IUSTI-AP hold biennial Congresses in the Region. Recently, they have usually been held alongside national meetings of similar professional societies, in this case dermatology, and have included satellite sessions for trainees in HIV/STI.

These meetings will present an opportunity for dermatological and venereological professions to review the latest developments and update their knowledge and skills in these few important areas, namely STI: Obstacles and Challenges and Aesthetic Dermatology. It will also provide a platform to exchange experiences and ideas in clinical practice and research.

The Organizing Committee has worked hard to put together this five days program for all participants in order to be a successful event, including the change of the meeting’s venue, from the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Kuta Bali to the Bali International Convention Center, The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua Bali. The relocation is due to the unexpected increase of participants registered. We apologize for the inconvenience it may cause.

Due to some local banking regulation, we can not process direct credit card payment. Please use Paypal for secure payment.

We hope that this meeting will be an excellent educational and memorable experience and we look forward to welcoming and meeting you all in Bali.
